About Pride.Amsterdam "Pride Amsterdam is a festival to celebrate that you can be who you are and love who you want. Nine days a year, LGBT people (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) set the standard in the capital. Grandfathers and grandmothers with grandchildren dressed in pink and people with t-shirts like “my best friend is gay” or “gay for a day” can be seen all over the city. The fact that we can celebrate our individual freedom so openly and together with the rest of the city makes much larger Prides like New York, Madrid and São Paulo jealous of Amsterdam."

Amsterdam WorldPride 2026 
In 2026, it will be a quarter of a century since The Netherlands opened civil marriage and for the first time in world history members of our community could officially wed. We would like to celebrate this jubilee together with the rest of the world and draw attention to the struggle in those countries where we still must suppress our true feelings. Pride Amsterdam is bidding for WorldPride 2026 and is Proud Partner of InterPride.
